OMG The King of Pop was announced dead today…..The world including myself are shock….

So with all this Michael Jackson drama going on, I decided to head down to California from
Texas to pay my respects. My boyfriend Steve and I are taking a 24 hr drive to get there.
I plan to sell some MJ portraits to those fans who would love an original art piece of mine
to keep as a memorabilia of the great King of Pop.

We are now in California. Today Steve and I headed down to the Hollywood walk of fame to visit MJ’s star and display
some art of mine for sale. It was an interesting experience watching all the fans crowded around his star, lights from
the cameras flashing everywhere, very quiet as we all share one thing in common…grieving for the great loss as we all
remember the joy he had brought to each and every one of us.
I was able to display my artwork and sell a couple to those passing fans on the walk of fame. I received a lot of amazing
feed back from others and also the media. I even did a few interviews as well.

Yet again today we made another trip to Hollywood. It wasn’t as crowded as Sunday but still a great number of people were out
and about. We only stayed for a few hours until we decided to pack up and head to Michaels home in Encino where more fans were
paying there respects. It was very calm and quiet there as everyone gathered around the estate gates. I left one of my pieces
hanging on a tree along with other gifts that fans left.

Tomorrow is the memorial for Michael and unfortunately Steve and I are not able to get tickets so we made a trip to Staples
Center to experience what we can even as outsiders so to say. There were hundreds of fans out there ! All waiting to get a
chance to write there good-byes on the huge canvases they had out here paying their respects to the King of Pop. Tons of
media were all around, people selling everything from MJ gloves to T-shirts to memorabilia books, including myself with my
eco art. There were also multiple MJ inpersinators but of course there were none that came anywhere close to the real thing
himself. We stayed there all night and what I loved most was that you can just feel all the love in the air as so many fans
gathered around to dance, sing, laugh, cry, and just be there to celebrate Michaels life….

Today’s the memorial at Staples Center. I watched it on TV as millions of others did around the world. The service was
very emotional and sad…. I think it finally hit everyone that Michael is really gone.
Steve and I decided to go on a little road trip up to Neverland Ranch which is up in Santa Barbara. It was a nice drive
as we drove up there in the dark night. We got up there so late that we ended up spending the night in my car till the
early morning. I guess all the vendors that have been camping out there all these days had to leave so it was very empty.
It was very peaceful though to just be up there and feel the spirits of the King of Pop. I left a piece of my work up
there as well, right in front of the gates to Neverland. This was the definitely the final thing we wanted to do to
complete our MJ trip as we are now preparing to hit the road back to Texas… 24 hour drive!!!
