Kim D. Nguyen is a self taught artist from southern
California. The young artist combines her creativity with her eco-conscious
mind to create beautiful art. Inspired by earth and nature Kim is currently
studying environmental science to help make a difference in our troublesome
world today.
Using Everyday materials to substitute common
art mediums such as paint, pencil and canvases, Kim creates her work with
used cardboard, shredded magazines, newspapers, and the notorious plastic
bags. She collects all her materials from family, friends and community influencing
them to recycle as well. She bonds all of these materials together using only
nontoxic glue and nothing but her self energy to create these one of a kind
pieces.
Kim has a passionate goal just like many of us
to better our world for today and the future. She is doing her part to help
save the planet starting with trash. Her main goal is to eliminate waste by
finding creative ways to prevent things from being dumped into our landfills,
and by influencing anyone and everyone to make a difference in their own way
to help our environment and the beautiful earth.
Kim is a firm believer in giving back, and helping
out others for she knows from her own experience that we all can not make
it on our own without some kind of help. Ten percent of all proceeds will
go to charity.
